A pedestrian hurries to cross the street while the light is green. Cars wait for the light to turn, In the distance the "EL" passes and the iconic Chicago Theater beckons. The shadows are warm and can see the contrast from right to left and sky to road.
About Will Germino
Obviously the photo is not of me-rather my three grandchildren playing nice together at the piano! But like art it is-planned but with a large element of the unexpected-yielding a result that one hopes touches the viewer. This photo epitomizes for me art. I began painting several years ago with the encouragement of my family, in fact bought me a set of brushes and canvases from a local hobby store. Combining that with local classes and a penchant to get better brought me where I am. I enjoy the interface of man and nature-the hard verticals and horizontals of man contrasting with the softer curves of God and nature. Architecture and perspective-combined with edges that are both soft and hard mark my style. My work has been presented...
